There was a showdown at House of representatives among members which brought to the fore the crack in the APC. The situation took a new twist when it degenerated into fisticuffs over appointment of principal officers. Factional members of the party accused the leadership of placing personal interest over the party’s mandate, forcing an adjournment of sitting until the 21st of July.
